The Social Benefit Dance Club, (also known as Medford Ballroom Dance Club) began as the Townsend Club and has been hosting dances since the 1930s. During the Great Depression, the club offered a warm meal and a place to meet for a social gathering with the local Rogue Valley families.
The club is still going strong, and offers a friendly environment for our members and guests. Today, we are actively welcoming everyone who loves to dance to come to our weekly event at the Rogue Valley Square Dance Center.
