The Social Benefit Dance Club, also known as Medford Ballroom Dance Club, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in Oregon. Originally known as the Townsend Club, the club has been hosting dances since the 1930s. During the Great Depression, the club offered a warm meal and a place to meet for a social gathering with the local Rogue Valley families.
The club is still going strong, and offers a friendly environment for our members and guests. Today, we are actively welcoming everyone who loves to dance to come to our weekly event at the Rogue Valley Square Dance Center.
